The Napa County Workforce Investment Board is delighted to announce the launch of its new website for board members, partners, staff and the  general public. This site will provide users with a comprehensive overview of the activities and services of the board including downloadable publications, on-going project information, events and more.
Echoing the sentiments of all parties involved in the site’s construction, Bruce Wilson, Executive Director for the WIB commented, “We find the new website design to be very user friendly and appealing. The site is an excellent tool to share information with our economic development, workforce development and educational partners as well as other stakeholders including employers and jobseekers.”
Born out of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, the Napa County Workforce Investment Board is responsible for strategic workforce planning leading to the alignment of economic, educational and workforce resources in the community. In addition, the Board makes policy for and oversees the publicly funded job training dollars that flow to Napa County through both formula allocation and competitive grant sources.
